    OUR final lecture.

    It all started when Mr H asked if I would like to join the

    rehearsals and performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony -

    (you know) I nodded.

    That happened during my entrance audition, which was March 2008.

    It subsequently led to a quartet performance, and a Germany concert tour -

    all before July when we officially began schooling.

    Today, as classmates for 3 years, we had our final lecture together.

    Taking a class photo became mandatory, to commemorate our friendship,

    and the eventful 3 years we spent here.

    All memories, whether sweet or sorrow - are now archived.

    _____


    I wonder if I shall bring my camera to school tomorrow,

    to take some snaps of our last schooling day;

    and so I left the 18-135 EF-S lens in school (deliberately!), the answer is apparent, NO?


    Ancient Facts & Figures: Mervin, Ji Min and I first met and befriended each other

    in this very hall during an evening rehearsal in March 2008.

    I miss our baby quartet. Min Jin, where are you???

    Lotsa stress lately- be it school, family or friendship.

    I'm in deperate need to chill,

    and so there was the two gatherings with my high school mates.

    Similar identies we have - coming from the same hometown,

    pursuing our tertiary studies in this lion city.

    The moments we spent together was priceless.

    Watching landing airplanes dashing through right above us;

    and making fun 'bout 阿拉 and his 干捞面... oopsies!

    When is our next outing, mates?

    5th April 2011. 8 p.m. Lee Foundation Theatre.

    For us as Year 3 students,

    it was the final orchestral concert we get to perform together.

    The date for our final recital is drawing closer -

    Let's work towards showcasing our best.

    18th May... I smell freedom already! ^^


    Whether in Singapore, or as far as Germany,

    Ji Min was the one helping me with the bowtie before concerts. Thanks buddy!

    CX 21st Edition: of Padlocks and Keys

    It striked me to blog when I attended my friend's party last night.

    My 21st. 5th Feb 2011. Exactly 15 days ago.

    I had breakfast & lunch with my family and relatives.

    I practised the violin. I fed my dogs. I surfed the net.

    I phoned my past teachers to wish them a prosperous CNY.

    I drove around the my hometown running errands for the celebration.

    ... and there it came the party.

    Thanks you, papa & mummy. For everything.

    Thank you, to all who helped: my aunt, maid, sister, friends....

    Lastly, thanks to all who turned up.

    CX 21st Edition: the Final Countdown

    For me, friends are people as important as family.

    4th Feb 2011. 1030 pm.

    It was a heartfelt decision to kill the final hours of my 20th

    with this bunch of high school classmates whom I matured with.

    Friends that you can keep.

    P/S: I realised that I've been friends with 杰新 & 家豪 since primary school!

    ... and how fast time flies, 杰新 has already got his bachelor's degree 2 months back.

    City colours;

    It is about the vivid and vibrant city life we are leading,

    and of coure most importantly, my coming 21st.

    This is the very first time I'm having a birthday celebration in this Lion City.
