    Goodbyes
  • Harry.
    ++Saturday, December 11, 2010 ++

    I grew up with Harry.

    I've read through every single of them several times.

    It is rather disheartening to realise that even the films are coming to an end.

    The epic finale of a wonderous world created by JKR.

    Let's hope the best!

    P/S: Like the previous films, I've watched the current instalment thrice >.<

    Alles Gute!

    Greetings.
    ++Friday, December 10, 2010 ++

    10 . 12 . 2010

    A violin-packed day for me.

    Breakfast - coaching - lunch - practice - errands - dinner - rehearsal - supper.

    However, the highlight of the day was a phone call to Australia,

    wishing my bestie a happy 21st.

    That's all for now.

    I shall have my dinner.

    Alles Gute!

    BH-Y. 17th Edition.
    ++Sunday, December 5, 2010 ++

    My dearest sister's 17th - a day to be celebrated.

    Both our burfdaes fall on the 5th, mine February and hers December.

    Baby brother's falls on the 23rd (not the 5th! BLEH!!!),

    and that makes him the little devil.

    Like brother like sister.

    A cut from the choco-cake I baked.

    Appearance - Epic fail. (it explains why I dare not show the whole of it)

    ... and Taste - Yummy! (nuff said, don't doubt!)

    Alles Gute!

    Oriental Metropolis.
    ++Thursday, December 2, 2010 ++

    Months have gone by since my third visit to HK last September.

    But since I've blogged about Disneyland,

    why not just upload some pictures of the metropolis?

    In many ways Hong Kong and Singapore are identical.

    Both cities have impressive city view by the harbour.

    They both have ports to deal with with tons of containers each day.

    Advanced rail system accomodating the commuters;

    Hectic pace of city life.

    Luxury boutiques everywhere.

    (for this, SG is still on its way becoming one)

    HK babies will know LV, Hermès and Chanel before they know Giordano.

    ... and even the chocolates are branded!

    For more pictures of the metropolis, click here.

    P/S: Finally a chance onboard the superjumbo.

    (despite the recent scandals,

    I still like the fact
    that you can walk around the two decks of economy cabin)

    I will be back soon. HK.

    Auf Wiedersehen!

    Rapunzel-inspired.
    ++Tuesday, November 30, 2010 ++

    Upon watching Disney's Rapunzel,

    I decided to blog about the HK Disneyland trip with my family last summer.

    A few pictures, but they say a thousand words.

    From characters so familiar to everyone ...

    ... to ... the little dwarfs that babies of the new millennium won't recognise.

    Lion King, a favourite of mine.

    P/S: The broadway musical will tour Singapore coming spring!

    Finally, a family portrait with Donald!

    I miss my childhood.

    Bambi, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Winnie the Pooh, Jungle Book,

    Snow White, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella,

    Hunchback of Notre Dame,
    Pocahostas, Hercules, Tarzan,

    Toy Story, 101 Dalmatians, Atlantis, George of the Jungle,

    ............... and the list goes on.

    For me these are the precious memories

    that I will want to recollect some time soon.

    Alles Gute!

    Pastoral and Titan.

    Berlin Philharmonic, or Berliner Philharmoniker.

    A top notch orchestra with a root tracing back to more than 120 years.

    It is undoubtedly among the finest,

    alongside with the few first ranking ensembles,

    like New York Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestra.

    Two evenings of amazing repertoires.

    I am satisfied despite the flaws which were rather surprising.

    Encore Pas de deux from Nutcracker reminds me of my days back in MPYO.

    What comes next? Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra?

    P/S: World's first ever 3D filming of an orchestra performance, proud much? ^^

    Alles Gute!

    The Rents.
    ++Wednesday, November 24, 2010 ++

    A heart to heart BBM (BlackBerry Messenger, yea...) conversation with mummy

    changed my decision to blog about

    the Berlin Philharmonic's debut performance in Singapore.

    Instead, I shall dedicate this entry to the rents.

    I have so much to express, telling you how grateful I am.

    I'm proud of what I am doing;

    I'm thankful of what I have, and who I am.

    Mummy and daddy, I love you!

    Alles Gute!
